The Boat Trix Bird Scare 10 ft Spider and Bird Deterrent is intended to create a less desirable place for birds to land, rest, and well you know what comes next. It was developed in South Florida to deter birds from landing and resting on boats at marinas, dockages, and storage areas. It uses no power. It is comprised of a 11" x 11" base made of king starboard and a detachable PVC Stand pipe having eight 5 ft fiberglass legs that cover and protect a 10 ft diameter space. A 10 ft spider, is enough to cover and protect a boat T-Top, cockpit area, or large deck area, It works well on docks and swim platforms too. When a bird tries to land, its wings hit the spider legs and they generally fly away and stay away. It has been tested on gulls, cormorants, and pelicans. It really works to provide several deterrents that are expected to make your boat the less desirable place to land and rest.
